Project Manager Global Client Onboarding and Maintenance


 


  1. INTRODUCTION:

 


To meet the continuous increase of regulatory transparency across the globe around customer due diligence, the Citco Group of Companies recently decided to setup a centralized client on boarding process in order to improve the KYC data collection and maintenance thereof from customers in order to meet the requirements of various jurisdictions in which the clients and Citco offices operate. For this new shared services centre, Citco is looking to recruit a dynamic Project Manager who can empower the team and establish momentum throughout the layers of the project while engineering the project to meet its goals.


 


  1. POSITION DESCRIPTION:

 


The Project Manager is responsible for managing the infrastructure of the project to setup an efficient centralized client onboarding operation for the Citco Divisions. In addition, he or she will be accountable and responsible for organizing, scheduling, follow-up, problem solving, defining issues and risks, and status reporting on the infrastructure of the project, change orders, and various releases as assigned, ensure that each is completed on time and within budget, that the deliverables meet Citco business requirements and that the project follows Project Management Framework standards for project management. The Project Manager will liaise with all members of the project team and the business units, manage the project scope, improve documentation templates, write-up procedures and processes. In addition, the Project Manager will initiate general recommendations for process improvements and innovative new workflows and assist with the implementation of those improvements within the project assigned and will collaborate with other project managers in this regard.


 


 


  1. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONS:

This position coordinates the implementation of Centralized Client Onboarding within Citco Division while meeting the  technological requirements and customer services expectations. The Project Manager reports to the Managing Director of Client Onboarding and Maintenance.


 


 



  1. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Managing the infrastructure of the project will include, among others, the following activities:



  • Define project definition, project scope, project lifecyle, project approach, project plan, priorities and critical path.

  • Define and receive management approval for project governance.

  • Document full project charter, including benefits, risks and constraints.

  • Manage and coordinate with the business and technical teams the implementation of various regulatory requirements across jurisdictions and to meet the operational challenges of these requirements.

  • Manage and coordinate available resources needed by tasks and other projects; and where applicable manage professionals assigned to him or her.

  • Participate in the definition of an infrastructure solutions for Process- and Data Modelling across Divisions.

  • Keep project sponsors, stakeholders and team members regularly up-to-date on progress of the project via internal sharepoint site and through written communication.


  • Prepare, maintain and publish project budgets, including all time and materials expenses, such as hardware, software, development and support resources, etc.
     

  • Develop, collect and report key project management metrics for measuring project performance and other sources of project costs.


  • Develop, communicate and coordinate multiple fast-paced project plans, schedules and resource allocation. Update project plans and publish changes as project progresses, liaising with and updating stakeholders.
      


  • Identify and communicate project risks and constraints and project issues, and develop risk mitigation strategies and escalation procedures.
     

  • Develop requirements specification, process flows, functional specifications, policies, procedures, and guidelines documentation, prototyping and walk-through, as required.


 


 


  1. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:


  • 3+ years experience with Project Management, Information Technology, Business Analysis, Problem Solving, Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, and Release Management in the Financial Industry.

  • Experience with Regulatory and Compliance Project Management with some exposure to Know Your Customer Policy and Procedures.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience with MS Project and Excel.

  • PMP certified is preferred.

  • Demonstrated strong proficiency in interpersonal and communication skills including oral and written English.

  • Availability and willingness to travel occasionally to other Citco locations for business.
