The Team
The Cloud & Managed Services (CMS) Global Sales team is a high performing team of cross functional experts in Managed / XaaS/ HCS / IAAS sales and part of a larger Go To Market (GTM) organization focused on the global Cisco enabled Cloud and Managed services business. The organization is responsible for driving the strategy and sales execution for Managed Services, Software and Cloud across all segments (Enterprise, Commercial, SP and Public Sector) and thus helping accelerate Cisco’s evolution to an IT company with our customers.
Role & Responsibilities
The Solutions Sales Executive for Data Center is a critical role within the Cloud and managed services team and will work with Service Provider & Enterprise Theatre Clients and Services Sales, Product Management, and Service Delivery leadership and teams to:
• Drive sales of Cloud and Managed Services for Data Center, e.g. Private Cloud, Managed SAP Hana, Managed VDI, DCaaS, etc.
• Lead large, transformational Cloud & Managed DC deals in Cisco’s top accounts
• Develop and execute a Cloud & Managed DC Services sales strategy, which will meet or exceed bookings targets
• Assume a leadership role utilizing field and customer experiences to assist in developing next generation Cloud & Managed Services for DC.
• Evangelize CISCO’s Cloud & Managed DC solutions to broader audiences, both internal and external;
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelors’ degree required in Engineering, Business Administration or other related fields. Master level degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in relevant sales and delivery roles in managed and cloud services, with subject matter expertise in one or more DC solution areas
• Proven track record in selling and closing large complex outsourcing/managed service deals (TCV:$25M+)
• Strong Experience in leading out tasking and outsourcing sales pursuits
• Willingness and ability to travel globally

• Strong financial and commercial aptitude and acumen
• Excellent communication skills and executive presence that enable effective engagement and change leadership with senior stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with teams in a fast-moving and dynamic business environment
• Demonstrated track record in consultative solution selling of Cloud & Managed Services into Fortune 1000 accounts.
• A track record of influencing and negotiating with a dynamic set of stakeholders with competing interests toward win-win outcomes
• Understanding of Cisco Product and Service portfolio
• Fluent English speaker, additional foreign languages a plus
