What You'll Do

As a member of the Business Critical Service (BCS) team, you will be an integral part of Cisco's Advanced Services Subscription business. Our Flexible Subscription Service offering enables us to get our customer's network ready, better, and smarter. BCS portfolio offer customers comprehensive deliverables set in Network Assessment, Learning, Support and Architecture Specialization (Routing & Switching) domain.

Who You'll Work With

The Business Critical Service is Cisco Advanced Service's flagship offer, supporting the core network infrastructure of hundreds of customers around the world. The team is targeted to assist SP and Enterprise customers to drive key values and outcomes, including OPEX reduction, Agility and end user satisfaction.

Who You Are

• You have knowledge in (1) platform area specific to customer space and in (2) of the following and strong knowledge in all other areas: IP internetworking, LAN Switching, Routing, IP Telephony, CDN, Optical. WAN protocols (Frame Relay, ISDN). IP Routing protocols (IGRP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, MPLS).
• You can perform technical support functions on problem resolution in support of major account under direction of delivery manager or Senior NCE in conformance to service delivery standards.
• You have experience with AS tools for effective execution of BCS deliverables
• You are proficient in (1) or more of: IP Internetworking LAN switching, IP routing and WAN technologies.
• You have hands-on experience in Installation, Configuration and troubleshooting and/or Network Solution design.
• You possess knowledge of network design concepts, network management, network availability & capacity planning.
• You have strong interpersonal skills and can work in a team environment.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge with at least one competitor platform – Nortel, Juniper, ALU a plus.
• Knowledge with ASR9k, IOS-XR preferred
• Knowledge of Virtualization (VMware, Openstack, Tail-f) technologies is a plus.
• Developing presentation skills. Able to present to peers on delivery topics.
• B.TECH / M.TECH BE/ BS with CCNA required and CCNP R&S preferred.
• Ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience
• Hands-on experience in scripting with Tcl/Expect, Python Java and Perl is desirable.
• Must be an effective communicator, with a proven ability to relate to customer representatives and executives.
