The University of Lausanne is a higher teaching and research institution composed of seven faculties where approximately 14,300 students and nearly 3,900 collaborators, professors, and researchers work and study. Ideally situated along the lake of Geneva, near Lausanne's city center, its campus brings together over 120 nationalities.
A postdoctoral position is available in Prof. Antje Horsch's group at the Institute of Higher Education and Research in Healthcare (IUFRS), University of Lausanne, Switzerland. We are looking for a qualified and motivated researcher to join the Lausanne Perinatal Research Group.
Our current research program focuses on the impact of parental mental health during the perinatal period on child outcomes and, in particular, the intergenerational transmission of stress and trauma during the perinatal period. This includes physiological and EEG paradigms. In addition, we work on the development of early interventions to prevent the development of stress- and trauma-related mental health problems in parents and their infants. Our group works closely with clinical colleagues at the Lausanne and Geneva University Hospitals.MissionYour responsabilities


you are interested and have experience in the domain of perinatal psychology/ perinatal mental health, which lies at the interface between clinical psychology, developmental psychology, and health psychology


you will actively participate in the interdisciplinary research program, with the opportunity to develop new projects according to their expertise and interest


you will expected to assist in the writing of grant proposals, manuscripts, and in teaching activities, including the supervision of student projects.

ProfilYour qualifications

you have a PhD or equivalent in nursing or related domains, such as (clinical/ developmental/ experimental/ health) psychology, medicine, biology, or life sciences 
an experience in hospital care is highly desirable 
an excellent level of English is required; basic French language skills are desirable 
knowledge of Office software (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel) 
you have ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
