Summary
Checkout.com is actively looking for a driven and laser-focused Reconciliations Clerk, who has the ability to work in a high pace and dynamic Finance Team.

Working as part of our Operational Finance function, this role forms part of our growing Reconciliations Team that is responsible for the reconciliation of Merchant and Card Scheme processing together with the reconciliation of Checkout.com’s domestic and international bank accounts. The Reconciliations Clerk will also be expected to undertake exception processes including investigations work on specific reconciling items. There will be a high volume data entry element to this role, therefore good Excel skills are mandatory.

The ideal candidate is a dedicated, numerically minded and highly organised individual. You must be a confident finance professional who will not shy away from high volume work. You must be a team player when it comes to getting the job done and assisting wherever you can.

Key Responsibilities
Daily reconciliations of bank accounts.
Reconcile and verify Checkout internal accounts and statements.
Reconciliation of third party reports and information.
Investigate and report any erroneous entries and rejected payments or transactions in a timely manner.
Continually look at ways of identifying efficiencies in processes.

Skills & Experience
Recent BSc Finance/Accounting Graduate with ideally a previous experience working with reconciliations
Good working knowledge of Excel
Working knowledge of payment systems would be an advantage
Analytically minded individuals with a curious attitude
Excellent attention to detail, ability to identify anomalies across large data sets
Adept at finding solutions and getting things done
Highly motivated, able to work towards deadlines in a challenging environment
Fluency in English
