About the role

Checkout.com is actively looking for a proactive and driven HR Intern to support the People team during our rapid growth, and help bring the division to the next level of scalability.

The HR Intern will be driving/supporting exciting projects & initiatives covering the entire data map of the HR team, performance management, learning and development, training and more.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

Maintain HR metrics, data and other confidential information
Perform administrative functions for the HR Team including maintaining accurate employment files and personnel records.
Support the HR Team including maintaining accurate employment files and personnel records
Support the HR Team throughout the Performance and Development process.
Assist in the maintenance and development of HR procedures and policies
Provide professional and helpful support for all employees as appropriate
Support the wider HR team on ad hoc projects when required
Keep up to date with best practices around people operations strategies and trends

About you

BA in HR or related field
Mastery of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Technically savvy, with a keen interest for everything tech
Highly proactive, able to prioritise workload and multitask
Very well structured, organised and detail oriented
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Familiarity with basic employment legislation appreciated
Have a team player spirit!
Ability to maintain confidential information
Full command of English, both written and spoken
