Summary:

Checkout.com is actively looking for a highly motivated Marketing Intern responsible for supporting our Marketing Director driving our marketing operations globally.

The Marketing Intern main responsibility will be to develop, manage and maintain high-quality and compelling content to nurture online and real-world communities. In this highly crossfunctional role, the Marketing Intern will have the opportunity to bring their fresh perspectives to all projects which they’re involved in, offering creative thinking and solutions to help produce work that exceeds expectations.

The ideal candidate must be a very driven and hands-on individual, willing to work in an uncompromising, high pace, low-politics environment. The successful candidate will join one of the most promising and forward thinking Fin Tech companies in the market and take part in our little revolution.

Key responsibilities:

• Write high-quality content including blog posts, website content, brochures, guides, emails, etc
• Own the end-to-end process for newsletter creation
• Manage our social media presence to raise brand awareness
• Prepare and coordinate major events
• Help optimise the website for SEO

Desired profile

• Excellent writing skills. Able to create compelling content in a variety of formats and understands how to create a story.
• Previous experience in a fast growing Technology company
• Video skills are a plus
• Loves to research new topics; able to quickly grasp new, technical concepts and understand the most important points
• Creative with an ability to think outside the box
• Good knowledge of blogging and social networks
• Attention to detail
• BSc in Marketing, Communication - MSc preferred
• Fluency in English is mandatory
