Project management; engineering; BSc. or Msc. level; laboratory related.

Position

As a Project Engineer Laboratory Facilities you will be responsible for running a complete project, after a thorough internal training course.

• You will do inventories on the customer's exact requirements and produce a quotation based on this information.


• You will be contributing towards and/or organizing the design of the laboratory.


• The execution of the project will commence once the quotation has been approved.


• You will be responsible for the purchasing activities, agreements with suppliers, transport planning and the correct report and export documents.


• You will also hold responsibility for supervising the equipment installation at the project site. You will regularly need to visit (often foreign) suppliers and customers for both inspections and purchases, in order to guarantee the quality of the goods.


• You are responsible for the quality, the planning and the project budget and you will be reporting to the Technical Manager.
  
  

Requirements

• You are preferably an Analytical Chemist with a completed Higher Vocational and/or University Education with a few years (2+) of laboratory experience in a petrochemical environment (Oil and Gas).


• Experience with Plastics (PE, PP) and/or Ferrous-Non Ferrous is preferred.


• You have a good command of the English language, both verbally and in writing.


• After an extensive (in-house) training period, you will be prepared to regularly travel to visit customers and/or assist with installation activities and provide users with on-site training courses.
