Job description

Overview

Charterhouse Claims is a leading claims management company based in South Croydon who is looking for an individual to join the rapidly expanding team as an Account Executive on a permanent basis.

The role will involve communication with customers, banks and the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) to ensure clients complaints are managed to conclusion.

Job Functions

  • Creating customer files and updating the systems within agreed operational and regulatory procedures including the correct input of data onto a client management system.
  • Answering any questions and responding to correspondence within the set time frame which at times will include complex queries.
  • Liaising with clients and financial institutions to ensuring that claims are managed in a professional capacity and that progression is within adhered timeframes.
  • Ensuring customers are kept updated which will include written and verbal contact
  • Contribute to the overall team performance, achieve quality and productivity goals whilst achieving agreed individual objectives and meeting business deadlines.
  • The ongoing development and management of 3rd Party Relationships.

Requirements

  • Competency with IT office systems including email, word processing, spreadsheets (WORD AND EXCEL).
  • Excellent standard of written and telephone communication skills.
  • Able to self-manage workload, forward thinking and solution focused
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy and the ability to demonstrate ongoing competency.
  • Skills in analysis, problem solving and decision making.
  • Drive and ambition to levitate the company to new performance levels by contributing to the improvement of existing and development of new operating systems.

This is a full time position, made permanent after successful completion of a 6 months probationary period, references and a basic DBS check.
