Our vibrant head office is set in a creative hub in North West London and due to our growth, we will be moving to a larger bespoke office space based in West London later this year.

The Role

The role is responsible for creating and curating social media content for an Asian audience (focus on China) in line with the website content and visuals and key trends that will inspire and engage our followers and generate interest in and raise awareness of the Charlotte Tilbury brand. You will work directly with the Senior Social Media Manager to create daily social media content across multiple social networks.

This role suits someone who wants an exciting growth opportunity in a fast-paced environment and is looking to make an immediate impact. You will have a proven track record in producing high quality content and a strong creative eye. You will be hugely passionate about all things social.

The Details

  • Start from scratch a new suite of social media channels that speak directly to a core Asia-focussed audience
  • Create, write and execute daily content across all Charlotte Tilbury social networks within Asia (China initially) including WeChat and Weibo
  • Work with the Social Media team on social campaigns, from conception to implementation
  • Reputation management
  • Work with merchandising and design to source imagery for social content
  • Co-ordinate content with the wider marketing team
  • Track and analyse overall content performance and suggest improvements
  • Work with the Senior Social Media Manager and social media agencies to implement an overall social content strategy for Asia
  • Research new developments in the online social field, communicate your findings to the team and develop ideas based on your findings

About you

  • Fluent in both written and spoken Mandarin
  • Excellent verbal communication and copywriting skills
  • Demonstrable passion for e-commerce and retail with, ideally, 1+ years working in digital, retail or fashion journalism
  • Awareness of cultural sensitivities within China and wider Asian territories
  • Proven track record of creating engaging visual and written content
  • A great creative eye; confident in curating and creating visuals with intermediate Photoshop/or equivalent programme
  • A solid understanding of Chinese (and Asian) social media platforms, including Weibo and WeChat as well as Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and Google+
  • A passion for creative brainstorming
  • The ability to work under pressure on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Impeccable co-ordination skills with the ability to efficiently implement plans
  • Knowledge of other Asian languages a distinct advantage
