The Role

The role is sits within the New Product Development department and is responsible for supporting the Regulatory Compliance Manager. You will be required to assist in ensuring products, packaging, documentation etc. are up to date and compliant with all relevant regulations.

This is an exciting opportunity for candidates with some previous regulatory experience OR science/chemistry graduate looking to kick start a successful career in cosmetics.



The Details

  • Assist in collating regulatory related technical documentation from manufacturers
  • Creating INCIs from formulations
  • Notifying products onto appropriate portals
  • Preparing formulations and technical documents for submissions to relevant markets
  • Assist with artwork approvals from a regulatory perspective
  • Assist in collating documentation for CARB, Prop 65 and packaging regulations
  • Assist the wider business including Customer Service, E-Commerce, NPD and Marketing on any Regulatory queries
  • Keep up to date on regulatory changes and implementing changes as required
  • Support day to day regulatory work and general administration within the Regulatory team



About you

  • Experience within the cosmetics industry within a similar position OR educated to degree level in a science based discipline
  • Knowledgeable and passion about the cosmetics industry
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to deadlines
  • Proactive and enthusiastic
  • Meticulous attention to detail with ability to work precisely according to procedures, rules and regulations
  • Computer literate and comfortable with MS Office
  • Knowledge and understanding of EU, Canadian & US cosmetic regulations is a distinct advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
