Job description

We're looking for Engineers to help produce, service and develop our secure mobile phone charging stations. You will be part of our Engineering team based in Chiswick using your electrical, electronic and/or mechanical skills in looking after the installation, maintenance and support of our UK fleet.

The Role

Ensure that our mobile phone charging machines are deployed and maintained in the best possible state, maximising customer satisfaction and minimising maintenance visits.

Carry out routine maintenance, coin collections, installation activities etc for our fleet of Chargebox machines across the UK, but primarily around London.

Work in our warehouse or at other sites to assemble, update and refurbish machines for sale or deployment.

Work with others in the team to ensure any cash is collected, counted and banked efficiently and correctly.

Ensure customer and partner technical support requests are handled as part of the office team.

Essential Skills Profile

Your skills and experience (perhaps gained through a mechanical and/or electrical apprenticeship or higher education) must include:

- Being mechanically/electrically-minded (able to take products apart and reassemble them; understand how they work)

- Good at problem solving and analytical thinking

- Numerical and with good IT skills (including use of a spreadsheet)

- Good written and verbal communications

- Keen interest in technology - especially around mobile

- Clean driver’s licence considered favourably
