POSITION SUMMARY:

The temporary Marketing Coordinator position in Women’s Fragrances to assist in the development and execution of Fragrance Marketing programs relevant to the U.S. marketplace, including new launches and ongoing promotional support. Ideal candidate will have a blend of analytical/strategic and creative/problem solving skills.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

CATEGORY/BRAND MANAGEMENT

· Assist in the development and execution of product launches and animations
· Manage paperwork, timetables and coordination of deliverables
· Review copy, artwork, training documents, etc. for accuracy
· Coordinate and manage calendar updates (marketing, team, global, 3-year)
· Assist in updating on-going team documents
· Help coordinate the execution of marketing plan through daily interface with key support groups: Forecasting, Planning, Marketing Services, Finance, Creative, Education, Sales, Events, Digital, PR, etc.
· Pull and analyze post-launch data and generate detailed launch performance summaries

BUSINESS ANALYSIS

· Perform on-going analysis of the Women’s fragrance business, and conduct ad-hoc queries as necessary to answer business questions
· Perform market trend and competitive environment analyses
· Track and analyze competitive SOM and activity
· Conduct bi-annual pricing analysis
· Track and document new competitive launches

BUDGET MANAGEMENT

· Responsible for tracking of all invoices and feeds discrepancies to Manager; support in the tracking of all budgets

MEETING PREPARATION & TEAM SUPPORT

· Help to prepare National Sales Meetings and Retailer presentations
· Various other ad-hoc requests

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Skills and Knowledge :

· Strong analytical skills; ability to think strategically
· Capability to think strategically yet execute in minutia
· Extremely detailed oriented
· Strong organizational skills and follow-up; ability to prioritize and multi-task
· Ability to adapt and shift priorities quickly
· Extremely resourceful and adept at problem solving
· Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including presentation and interpersonal skills
· Expert level Excel and PowerPoint skills
· Must demonstrate initiative and ability to work independently
· Previous experience in a fast-paced environment

Minimum Education: BA/BS

Minimum Years of Experience:

· 2+ years in related industry / marketing role OR
· 2+ years of experience in finance, banking or consulting and a desire to move into the Fragrances and Beauty industry

· Must be proactive with strong work ethic
