Salesforce IT System Administrator

Primary Responsibility:

The Salesforce Administrator will focus on Salesforce.com , providing functional and technical knowledge to ensure successful delivery of an innovative, high quality solution to the F&B sales organization. This individual is responsible for key activities on Salesforce.com including; Salesforce system administration, system configuration including testing, training and on-going support.

Key Areas of Focus:

· Collaborate with third party development team, Appirio, and/or other IT technical teams
· Support approved changes, and seek opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Salesforce.
· Analyze new features, software, technologies as it relates to Salesforce and their usefulness in Chanel's environment.
· Work with business partners to define Salesforce priorities and determine level of effort.

Essential Functions

· Understand all aspects of Salesforce.com configuration and technical/functional capabilities, including all changes and potential system implications related to the Salesforce.com release upgrades
· Communicates regularly with the Salesforce.com super users to support them in their role and provide information and training on new features and functionality (Support may include assistance with data imports/exports, assistance with data integrity projects or other requests)
· Communicates regularly with the Salesforce.com Business Administrator, IT Leadership, and other stakeholders to ensure functionality meets business needs
· Works with project manager and development team at Appirio on issue tracking and release plan
· Maintains at least high-level familiarity with other IT system / business application capabilities and scope definition in order to make recommendations about potential upstream/downstream integration or functionality intersection points.
· Work with business to evaluate and analyze business processes and opportunities for SalesForce.com
· Assist in architecting and implementing business processes, workflows and applications in SalesForce.com
· Define and advocate technical collaboration across systems and functional departments
· Manage the administration of Salesforce.com including configurations, etc..
· Maintain and communicate KPIs to track trends in usage and data integrity;

Support production issues and manage issue resolution tracking.

Qualifications

· 2-4 years of Salesforce Administration experience and Salesforce.com Certified Administrator strongly preferred
· Strong technical and functional proficiency in Salesforce.com, performing tasks such as: security settings, workflow rules, custom object creation, reports, and dashboards
· Ability to create technical documentation to support new builds and releases
· Demonstrable skills in gathering and translating business requirements into actionable project plans
· Proven experience building components of a Salesforce system to support core business processes
· Self-motivated with excellent communication, interpersonal and organization skills
· Data migration and integration experience between various external applications
· Ability to coordinate with implementation partners, other IT managers, internal stakeholders and developers in providing solution suggestions and constructive feedback
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· BA/BS Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, and/or related field
