POSITION SUMMARY:

Chanel, Inc., a leader in the luxury goods industry, seeks a Regional Manager based in Atlanta. Responsibilities include building a professional sales force ensuring that individuals are developed to maximize their potential, working in tandem with KAMs to achieve region goals/company goals and establishing a professional, on-going rapport with the retail community. Additional duties include business strategy and analysis, promotional programming, managing counter personnel productivity, in-store merchandising, executing all elements of new door openings, replenishments, returns and maintaining selling costs

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify volume opportunities within the territory – strategizing a plan to achieve annual sales goals
• Implement retail sales goals by account
• Sales promotional planning by account
• Development of forecast plans for net shipments/returns and monitoring of same
• Administration of all budgets within the area – allocating as business dictates
• Development of Field Personnel
• Establish a positive challenging environment providing ongoing direction to all KAMs and RMs
• Build a professional sales force ensuing that individuals are developed to maximize their current potential and build toward future opportunity.
• Establish a professional, ongoing business rapport with the retail community
• Communicate closely with all CHANEL management members on all issues, problems, concerns and opportunities.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong analytical skills
• Strong communication skills
• Strong existing relationships with retailers and retail community
• Excellent supervisory skills
• Thorough understanding and control of budgets
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a Regional management or Key Account Manager position-- prior retail experience at buyer level or above
• Cosmetics background preferred
