Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Be the Chanel Style Ambassador and work as a Style consultant with clients (50%)

1) Develop styling in their clients and the clients of the boutique

·  Guide clients in developing their own style showing sophistication and creativity
·  Encourage client to try / dare new pieces that will further assert his / her style
·  Provide a style service to the client with a primarily focus on appointments / wardrobes
·  Lead boutique Style Sessions as per the Style Service Menu
·  Entertain clients with a strong fashion awareness

2) Play a key role in terms of styling during Events

·  Participate in various company's events / activities (pre-order, collection launch, private viewings, style exercise, VIP styling...)
·  Work with Style Expertise Manager to create inspiring looks during collection events to support Style Advisors and the rest of the boutique team
·  Give an inspiring introduction speech on the collection on request

3) Contribute to qualitative boutique sales, promoting a style, not only a silhouette

·  Play a key role in supporting the launch of the collection in the boutique from a styling point of view
·  Ensure the key Fashion messages and the allure of the collection are conveyed through the styling advice
·  Promote the non-obvious: Key Fashion Pieces, sophisticated items, high-ends
·  Work with Style Expertise Manager on styling tips to promote the non-obvious and slow-movers

Contribute in elevating the styling competencies in boutique and mentor the Style Advisors (40%)

1) Elevate Styling competencies in own boutique

·  Supervise styling activities in their boutique to ensure and align the cascading of correct style expertise content and practice (during styling moments, morning briefing, wardrobe preparation) for the right audience
·  Update the Style Expertise Manager on boutique initiatives around Styling
·  Participate in conducting Style & Fashion Workshops and in creating Style tutorials with SEM
·  Play a role of influencer on the Fashion Community: post inspiring looks and moderates the members of the boutique when appropriate
·  Embody the perfect role-model and advisor to the team in terms of personal Image (grooming, how to wear the uniform)

2) Coach Style Advisors and monitor their progress

·  Conduct one-on-one coaching for Style Advisors of their boutique and rotate in boutiques without a Style Expert
·  Provide frequent and constructive feedback to Style Advisors, identify individual strengths and/or weaknesses and develop action plans to build individual strengths and/or address individual needs
·  Partner with the DHOB to formulate performance management objectives and appraise the Style Advisors formally every six months (from a styling point of view)
·  Play a key role in identifying / attracting the new Style Advisors together with the SEM

Influence boutique buys and advise on buying looks, for today and “tomorrow” clients (10%)

·  During buying session : study collection, gather feedback from Style Advisors and provide qualitative feedback to SEM
·  Attend Buys in Paris when possible to support the buying team and work with the SEM on decrypting the collection and creating inspiring looks, relevant to country / boutique’s client profile
·  Review Style Advisors’ orders from a total silhouette point of view to ensure the Allure of the show is represented, for the clients of today and tomorrow
·  Participate actively in all Post-buy Meetings and help SEM to share suggestions from a Styling perspective to the rest of the team
