About the role:

CHANEL is looking for a Senior Manager to join our Account Planning team in our Fragrances & Beauty (F&B) division in New York. Reporting to the Group Director of Owned Account Planning & Replenishment, you will play a leading role in our Owned sales and inventory strategies, business plans, sales budgets & forecasting and performance analysis. This role interfaces with multiple functions in our division and is a key partner for our Digital and Retail teams. Our ideal candidate will have 6 years of experience and a passion for numbers, story-telling, and strategic thinking.

Key Responsibilities include:

·  Create and execute on retail sales & net shipment plans by month/by brand during cadenced U.S. Forecast Updates, incorporating the strategic vision of our Division as well as current market landscape and insight from the key Owned stakeholders
·  Drive the success of our new Fragrance & Beauty Boutiques (FBB) openings from a Planning perspective (creating and executing on new door sales forecasting, creating new door opening orders, new campaign allocations, executing on FBB Animation Calendar, etc.)
·  Partner with and provide feedback to Marketing & Merchandise Planning Teams on Owned inventory buy for upcoming newness campaigns utilizing historical data, divisional ambitions, current sales trends and overall market dynamics
·  Oversee new campaign allocations by door to ensure inventory is distributed appropriately based on sales potential and store capacity
·  Manage and execute replenishment strategies for all limited-edition SKUs across Owned Accounts
·  Collaborate with the Owned Replenishment Team to ensure inventory replenishment strategies are in line to meet financial sales goals and are maximizing product performance
·  Serve as a key business partner for our Digital and Retail teams to drive Owned performance; partnership examples include understanding upcoming product placement/merchandising initiatives to adapt sales plans and inventory strategies to support, EOM business analysis, etc.
·  Drive weekly and monthly Owned business analysis including product/campaign/brand performance, results to sales plan, YTG expectations, etc. to influence strategic objectives, identify improvement opportunities, and become an Owned liaison, through a passion of creative story-telling and making things beautiful
·  Support Group Director, Account Planning on cross-functional & multi-faceted project execution and will manage one direct report

·  Must be self-motivated and a self-starter, with a strong attention to detail and systems acumen
·  Fundamental knowledge of the Supply Chain including supply planning, forecasting models, inventory management, manufacturing, and distribution
·  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and have aptitude to learn technical applications quickly
·  Possess strong organizational and time management skills
·  Learning agility and ability to creatively problem-solve in a fast-paced environment; ability to balance multiple tasks
·  Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels of the organization

Position Logistics:

·  6+ years of experience, ideally within an Operations capacity (Store Planning, Forecasting, Distribution, Supply Chain, etc.)
·  1+ years of direct team management experience
·  Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in a Supply Chain/Merchandising/Planning field
·  Role requires a minimum of three days in-person office presence at the designated location/office.

Compensation:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $87,500 through $130,000. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other components [may/will] include additional compensation, benefits and perks.
