Open Innovation Intern

Team Location: Luxembourg
Reports to: Corporate Strategy Senior Manager
Contract: Internship/ 6 months.
The company’s Open Innovation team explores the future of luxury through an ecosystem of projects, investments, incubations and internal activities. As part of this, the team manages strategic partnership activities that address the future through our Innovation ventures. The role of the Innovation Venture Intern will be to help with the identification, evaluation, and execution of opportunities for innovation projects. The role will report to the Innovation Venture Senior Manager.
More specifically, this role will be responsible for:

Researching and analysing potential projects, including market/competitive/financial analysis, in collaboration with the Open Innovation scouting team;

Helping the team to prepare reports and presentations for leaders and team members
·
Helping with due diligence for opportunities by collecting and analysing information and data, identifying risks and opportunities, and preparing briefs and memos;
·
Tracking and reporting on the performance of the portfolio and working with the rest of the team to identify metrics and evaluate opportunities;
·
Networking and building relationships internally and externally;
·
Managing operational logistics to include calendars, expenses, invoicing, vendor setup, partnering with legal and finance on paperwork when needed and office management, specifically for this team.
What you will bring:

Outstanding communication/presentation skills in English required, French/other languages helpful
·
Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable with complexity, ambiguity and shifting priorities,
·
Expertise in PowerPoint and Excel required; proficiency in collaborative innovation and project management platforms is preferred,
·
Previous experience in an analytical role in consulting, M&A, investments, venture capital or related industries is preferred,
·
Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in finance, business or related field, or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with related experience; please only apply for this role if you are a student or eligible for a post-graduate internship.
