Job description

This position is responsible for EHS agenda by supporting EHS manager in implementing and continuously improving EHS programs for Chanel Korea to achieve full compliance with all applicable laws & regulations as well as setting up foundation of Corporate Business EHS standards & requirements. As a part of EHS team, he/she will play an instrumental role in setting up EHS plan, process and governance as well as performing critical BAUs such as EHS compliance, to identify, prevent and resolve potential issues and to mitigate environmental liabilities associated with current and former operations and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

· 
Maintain compliance with national and local environmental and safety regulations.

· 
Lead to set up Chanel safety and environmental Frameworks

· 
Support EHS manager in providing EHS guidance and compliance support to management team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

· 
Assist Business in executing Chanel Environmental, Safety priorities, metrics, goals and requirements once it’s established

· 
Proactively drive continuous improvement in Safety performance and programs

· 
Drive improvements in organizational EHS culture, awareness, and accountability

· 
Conduct incident / accident investigations and develop corrective and preventative action plans

· 
Plan and deliver employee Safety training, lead relevant audits, and maintain records.

· 
Support EHS manager in connecting with regulatory agencies concerning all EHS issues, understand regulatory changes and trends and forecast site impacts.

Required Qualifications:

· 
Possess professional certificate (산업안전기사 자격증) and/or eligible to be designated as a Safety Manager outlined by Occupational safety & Health Act.

· 
Bachelor of Science in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering, Hydrogeology or Geology or related technical discipline

· 
3+ years’ experience on managing EHS compliance and/or programs in multinational companies

· 
Proven project and program management skills

· 
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

· 
Experience working in retail companies with warehouse facility

· 
Other Occupational safety & health (산업위생기사 자격증, 인간공학기사 자격증) related professional certifications

· 
Experience managing projects

· 
Able to simultaneously manage multiple projects and other responsibilities, adjust to changing priorities and to make decisions with speed and accuracy based on available information

· 
Team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working within cross-functional, internal and external team

· 
Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
