About the role:

As the Import & Export Analyst, you will support international trade operations in the Brazilian market, ensuring smooth import and export processes while maintaining compliance with customs regulations and ANVISA requirements.

Working closely with the Import & Export Compliance Manager and cross-functional teams, you will play a key role in shipment coordination, trade compliance, customs documentation validation, and operational follow-up with brokers, freight forwarders, and carriers.

You will act as an important point of coordination between internal stakeholders and external logistics partners, ensuring shipment readiness, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency across all import and export activities.

Responsibilities:

Import & Export Operations

· 
Support import and export operations, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, ANVISA requirements, and internal company policies.

· 
Monitor and validate documentation prepared by customs brokers and freight forwarders, ensuring accuracy in customs classification, fiscal documents, and shipment details.

· 
Track shipment readiness and customs clearance processes, proactively addressing delays or discrepancies.

· 
Coordinate with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure timely shipment execution and operational efficiency.

Trade Compliance & Regulatory Follow-up

· 
Support the Trade Compliance Specialist/Coordinator in ensuring compliance with import/export regulations and customs requirements.

· 
Assist in product homologation processes and customs classification validation.

· 
Ensure adherence to import/export controls, special customs regimes, and trade agreements, mitigating regulatory risks.

· 
Stay updated on AEO/OEA (Authorized Economic Operator), DUIMP (Single Import Declaration), and Product Catalog requirements, supporting best practices in trade operations.

Operational Coordination

· 
Collaborate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and carriers to ensure smooth operational execution.

· 
Act as a liaison between internal departments and external service providers, supporting alignment across supply chain, finance, legal, and operational teams.

· 
Monitor shipment schedules and support resolution of logistical bottlenecks when necessary.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

· 
Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to international trade operations.

· 
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, compliance, and process optimization.

· 
Prepare operational reports and assist in identifying opportunities for process enhancement.

Technical Knowledge and Skills:

· 
Degree in International Trade, Business Administration, Logistics, or related fields preferred.

· 
Experience in import/export operations, customs clearance, and trade compliance.

· 
Strong understanding of international trade documentation, incoterms, and regulatory frameworks.

· 
Knowledge of customs classification (HS Code), AEO/OEA, DUIMP, and Product Catalog requirements is a plus.

· 
Fluent in Portuguese and English (written and spoken).

· 
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
