Distribution Center Supervisor (Fragrance & Beauty)

About The Role

We are seeking a professional to lead our Fragrance and Beauty operations in our Singapore Distribution Center. Working in proximity with the customer service team, the marketing team and the point of sales, you will provide unsurpassed service levels to delight our clients, and agility to meet the business requirements.

People Management

· 
Manage and lead an effective and cohesive team which can work towards the target, and to monitor the performance and productivity of the team in achieving our brand performance, financial health, leadership & people strength, sustainability and client engagement objectives

· 
Motivating and encouraging teamwork within the workforce and provide proper coaching and focus staff development for the team

· 
Effectively plan and execute all resource requirements ensuring that the right people, processes and equipment are in place to meet service levels, and that productivity is maintained

· 
Be proactive in approach to trouble shooting, problem solving and decision making during the daily distribution center operations

Warehouse Management

· 
Ensure perfect service with best-in-class order fulfillment, reasonable inventory level and healthy stock turnover for both merchandise and non-merchandise in the warehouse

· 
Manage our non-merchandise Greenhub with efficiency – aiming at reducing waste and re-using non merchandise products throughout the year

· 
Maintain high levels of security in the stock handling areas, regular housekeeping leveraging 5S principles, and hold responsibility for Health & Safety in the warehouse and related external areas

Process Improvement

· 
Proactively work and lead the team to identify improvement opportunities, effectively apply any changes to warehouse processes and design to achieve improvements in operational performance

· 
Plan, coordinate and lead any other ad hoc supply chain projects, focusing on improving employee engagement, skills development, digital implementation, automation, e-commerce and omni-channels

Leadership

· 
Promote the highest standards of inter and intra team communication, and to deliver operational and customer service excellence within own team and cross functionally

· 
Regularly report key operational updates to the Head of Supply Chain and suggest ways to improve operations

What You Will Bring

· 
University graduate in Supply Chain / Logistics / Warehouse Management or related discipline

· 
Leadership, collaboration and people management skills

· 
Spoken and written English. Chinese proficiency is a plus

· 
High energy to manage day to day operations and staff development
