Job description

Job Purpose:

·  Ensure quality delivery of Retail performance in the assigned territory covering from operation to Retail people management

·  Provide support to ARM counter part for the highest level of Retail synergy and consistency across VN market

·  Drive collaboration with cross functions and cross divisions for One House of Chanel image and people agenda

Key Responsibilities:

SALES MANAGEMENT : to plan and develop the sales of the FBP division in line with the company’s objectives. Focus on service & keep high luxury standard to drive sales performance.

·  To project and plan sell-in and sell-out budget
·  To implement a sales strategy and plan to achieve the budgets
·  Plan, monitor and control “key” operating expense for BA & sales team

RETAIL LEADERSHIP

·  Support Chanel’s continuous (thought) leadership in luxury retailing
·  Understand current and future luxury retail business and trends, anticipate challenges and provide appropriate solutions with a balance between brand equity and retail excellence
·  Drive brand differentiation from the competitors with alignment of image
·  Drive overall retail operation efficiency to support front line retail needs

TEAM MANAGEMENT & DEVELOPMENT : Lead, manage and drive a team of sales force to ensure smooth and effective retail operations in line with the brand objectives and targets

Sales team management:

·  Oversee recruitment of the sales force who can best represents the company’s vision, mission & values
·  Motivate sales team to maximize their potential to move to the next level
·  To ensure that the sales team are well-briefed and clear on company’s objectives and directions
·  Talent development or talent search to build a team of supervisors and specialists
·  Ensure sufficient and efficient manpower planning and coverage at all points of sales
·  To take care of the welfare of the sales team as well as to take action on disciplinary matters by working with HR

Direct team management:

Constantly guide & develop subordinates to assume added accountability for a broader perspective Conduct monthly meetings with team to dissiminate information, strategize & develop action plans to improve or expand business potential

STOCK MANAGEMENT: manage and monitor stock level as well as stock mix to maximize stockholding at the counter and at the warehouse

Counter & warehouse stock management:

Ensure stockholding and stock mix at each POS are relevant to its business potential and according budgeted stock level Ensure right level of stockholding at warehouse according to budget Communicate & discuss with local forecast team on new product forecast and OTB To take action on overstock or understock situation at the counter or at the warehouse Work closely with Forecaster to control OBC and EOL stock, analysis, management & implement appropriate action as needed

OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT : Establish a smooth operational flow at the counters with the right support from the office and warehouse

Oversee and follow-up to ensure that all operational process for stock management, sales & other reporting systems are in place & running smoothly Ensure smooth operations the standalone boutiques Conduct regular counter visits to ensure all guidelines are followed & to look into well-being of sales team Conduct monthly meetings with HOBs & CMs to disseminate information & gather feedback Build a close working relationship with Landlord for a more cohesive understanding between brand and retailer To handle difficult customer complaint relating to product defects

REPORTS & ANALYSIS: to ensure effective analysis and utilization of reports according to business needs

To oversee Sales & Ops Executive to ensure timely preparation and submission of monthly reports Ensure part timers commission and wages are accurately monitored to see if they are within budgets To prepare ad-hoc reports to analyse the business

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: to provide support to all divisions of the company to achieve total company’s objective

Work closely with MKT & CRM department to run Client event/workshop

To provide support to other departments or divisions when necessary
