Job description

CHANEL is seeking a dedicated Accountant to join our Finance team, providing crucial support for financial tasks across Scandinavia and Benelux region. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the local Accounting teams in Denmark and The Netherlands and report directly to the Senior Finance Manager. You will thrive in a dynamic environment where teamwork and cross-border cooperation are valued.

What impact you can create at CHANEL:

· 
Timely posting of invoices and banking

· 
Monthly shutdown tasks, i.e., balance reconciliations, provisions, probabilities etc.

· 
Registration and reconciliation of credit card payments received as well as cash from stores

· 
Registration and reconciliation of debtor accounts and incoming payments

· 
Preparation of payments of invoices in bank

· 
Calculation and reporting of VAT and intrastat in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden

· 
End of year and preparation of material for the audit

· 
Handling of mailboxes and invoice inflow

You are energized by:

The role requires flexibility, proactivity, and an interest in working independently and curiously. You are comfortable working with a wide range of tasks and are not afraid to provide your own input. At the same time, you are service minded in relation to the organization, and you can explain issues in finance in an easily comprehensible way for non-finance people.

 

What you will bring to the team:

· 
Successful experience of at least 3 years in a similar position

· 
Experience with bookkeeping system D365 and high level of knowledge of Office 365 programs

· 
You are an accurate, energetic, analytic, positive, and independent person

· 
You are trustworthy with a high degree of integrity and ethics

· 
Fulltime available and living in or around Copenhagen

· 
Fluent in Danish and English
