Position Description:

Join CGI to build an ISO 50001 “Auto-MRV” co-pilot: a module that auto-generates audit deliverables (energy review, SEUs, action plans) and continuously measures & verifies energy savings using IPMVP, paired with a CFO dashboard (NPV/IRR, payback) to accelerate investment decisions. You’ll work with real industrial datasets (pulp & paper, mining & metals, food, data centers, chemicals).

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Model energy baselines by asset/line/site (regression, change-point, weather/production normalization).
• Develop an Auto-MRV module (normalized savings, confidence intervals, per-measure attribution).
• Detect opportunities (rules + analytics) and quantify kWh, $/yr, CO₂.
• Package a Compliance Pack (ISO 50001 PDCA, registers, traceability) and a Finance Pack (CBA with NPV/IRR).
• Deliver a Power BI dashboard showing savings, project pipeline, and compliance status.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in engineering (energy/industrial/electrical/mechanical), IT/data, or operations.
• Knowledge of ISO 50001, IPMVP/M&V, basic IT/OT (SCADA, OPC UA/Modbus/BACnet), Excel/Power BI; Python/R is a plus.
• Rigorous, analytical, self-starter; French required, English an asset.

Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role, which involves interactions with both national and international clients.
