Transition Manager

  • Belfast (City of Belfast)

Job description

Position Description:

At CGI, you’ll play a pivotal role in guiding clients through high-impact transitions that shape the future of their organisations. As a Transition Manager, you will lead complex, business-critical programmes that deliver measurable outcomes, strengthen client partnerships, and enable innovation across diverse sectors. You’ll have the space to take real ownership, apply your creativity to solve challenges, and be supported by a collaborative community that empowers you to deliver excellence from day one. This is an opportunity to steer full lifecycle transitions that drive meaningful transformation while developing your career within an organisation where your ideas and expertise truly matter.
CGI was recognised in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work List 2025 and has been named a UK ‘Best Employer’ by the Financial Times. We offer a competitive salary, excellent pension, private healthcare, plus a share scheme (3.5% + 3.5% matching) which makes you a CGI Partner not just an employee. We are committed to inclusivity, building a genuinely diverse community of tech talent and inspiring everyone to pursue careers in our sector, including our Armed Forces, and are proud to hold a Gold Award in recognition of our support of the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant. Join us and you’ll be part of an open, friendly community of experts. We’ll train and support you in taking your career wherever you want it to go.
Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. Whilst this is a hybrid working position, ideally you will be based in Belfast in order to be able to work with our project team 2/3 days a week.

You will also apply proactive planning, financial management and risk leadership to maintain momentum and steer engagements towards successful commercial and operational outcomes. Throughout, you’ll work closely with CGI and client stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and a seamless transition into live service.
