Tibco Web Services Developer

Position Description
The Web Services Application Developer will design and build REST and SOAP APIs using Tibco Active Matrix Business Work to support integration with Weblogic applications, legacy systems and 3rd Party services.

As a member of the TIBCO Development team, the Web Services Developer will work with architects, other developers, support teams, and customers in a fast paced, collaborative, iterative environment.

Your future duties and responsibilities
The Web Services Application Developer produces TIBCO BW artifacts, develops and unit tests the code, supports QA and Performance testing efforts, executes / supports the Change and Release processes, creates documentation and provides production operational support on deployments.

• Creates high-level and detail technical design for multiple services involving transformation, routing, enrichment orchestration

• Identify and design for non-functional requirements

• Develops web service application that integrate with HTTP, other application APIs/Web Services, 3rd party APIs/Web Services, SFTP, and others.

• Manages design reviews, application design impacts between concurrent releases, and technical walkthroughs

• Provide technical and functional documentation

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Understanding of SOA and Integrations

• Understands the technical details, integration, and functions of multiple applications, hardware, and/or software within a team.

• Hands-on experience in designing and developing high volume web services

• Java development experience or other high-level programming languages

• Experience in service transformation, routing, enrichment orchestration with Tibco

• Writes testable code and familiar with SOAPUI

• Understands the technical details, integration, and functions of multiple applications, hardware, and/or software within a team.

• Desire to innovate, participate in continuous improvements, and learn new technology

• Fast learner and must have good root cause analysis and investigation skills.

• Collaboration with multi-disciplined teams

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Nice to have:

• Experience with CI process and automated build tools

• Experience with job scheduling

• Experience with payments
