Position Description

CGI's Central Government business has been expanding significantly over the last year due to the increase in client projects from both new and existing business, and are now looking to hire a number of Test Analysts to work on a high profile programme of work. This programme manages the IT systems for a high profile government department that is currently transitioning to a new Tower Model for the provisioning of its IT services.

Your future duties and responsibilities
As a Test Analyst for CGI you will have a number of key responsibilities covering both functional and technical infrastructure testing. Working within an Agile environment you will be heavily involved in test automation. This will include test estimation, analysis of requirements to determine test conditions, test scripting, and then test execution. You may well be required to work on multiple projects that are at different stages of testing. Other responsibilities will include defect logging and various reporting tasks. Although the role is predominantly based in Leatherhead you will be required to travel to client sites in London and also other CGI offices such as Reading.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
The ideal person for this role will have demonstrable experience of Test preparation, analysis, test scripting, and defect logging. You will have previous experience of working within an AGILE testing environment with solid test automation experience. It is essential that you have previous experience of working with HP ALM/ Quality Center.
It is also essential that you have an ISTQB foundation level certification, and it would be desirable if you had the AGILE extension too.

Due to the nature of the projects you will be working on, you must already hold SC clearance or must be willing and eligible to achieve the appropriate level of security clearance.
As you will be working on multiple projects it is important that you have the ability to manage your time well.

Experience within the public sector would be advantageous but is not essential. The role is based in Leatherhead, however you must have a flexible attitude towards travel as you will occasionally be required to travel to client sites in London as well as CGI’s office in Reading.
