Position Description:

CGI is looking for a Teradata Developer to join our OnShore Delivery team in Lafayette, LA to service CGI's Health Care client; Cigna

Experience should include:

Teradata hands on experience, not limited to ETL tool such as DataStage, Informatica

Teradata DBA experience not mandatory

Must have - Table Loads, Updates, Inserts, DDL, DML – Teradata/DB2/Oracle

Proficient in writing SQL – Simple/Medium/Complex SQL’s

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Experience in query optimization

Must have - Able to debug complicated codes, recommends the fixes required and fix also

Data Analysis is key

Must have - Basic Operation knowledge of UNIX

Must have - Ability to work independently with minimum guidance after Initial training on the environment

Good to have - Proficient in SAS – Base SAS & Macros

Good to have - Healthcare knowledge/experience past experience with Claims, Provider, Eligibility

Good to have - Agile experience

Must have good communication skills – this is required due to remote collaborations
