Your future duties and responsibilities
The Database/Reports Manager will oversee database management and report system administration for a federal government client. The Task/Project Manager will manage all work performed and coordinate the effort of all team members and other contractors.
Specifically, the Database/Reports Manager shall:
• Oversee maintenance and operations support for multiple existing and potential future databases and data extracts; activities include but are not limited to: access control, back-ups, updates, performance improvements, and automation of manual tasks
• Analyze data and create reports that fulfill user and customer needs based on advanced financial management, program, and reporting knowledge
• Research new or improved database management and reporting practices; continually seek ways to improve team efficiency and increase the quality of the work produced, eliminate or reduce significant bottlenecks and barriers to production, promote team building, and improve business practices
• Define project goals, develop work plans, and set short and long term priorities to be accomplished by team members
• Assign work based on priorities; consider the difficulty and requirements of the assignments and the capabilities of team members
• Serve as a coach and/or mentor to team members; provide guidance, advice, counsel, or instruction to team members in resolving administrative and on technical problems
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Bachelors or advanced degree
• 10 years of experience in government consulting; including at least 3 years in a project management or equivalent role
• Familiarity with federal government business operations such as human resources, federal accounting, federal budget, and federal acquisition with an understanding of the financial impact of all business operations transactions or events
• Proficient with SQL, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) using Reporting Definition Language (RDL), and Workforce Analytics or SharePoint/SharePoint List Source and Destination to create subscriptions
• Knowledge of project and program management techniques, methods, theories, and principles to accomplish program objectives
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance required
