Your future duties and responsibilities:

In this role, you’ll support our clients in designing and managing modern network infrastructures. You’ll advise on 3rd-level support, architecture, and project topics, with a strong focus on transitioning towards virtualized and automated data center and network environments.
You’ll be part of an international team and work closely with colleagues across different locations. At CGI, you’ll have the opportunity to shape innovative solutions, drive automation, and continuously develop your skills.

·  Implement, scale, maintain, and validate large network environments in a multi-tenant setup using automation

·  Combine traditional network administration with modern automation practices

·  Design solutions based on client requirements, CGI standards, and security guidelines

·  Independently plan and implement agreed architectures

·  Transform Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) into modern data center and network landscapes

·  Develop tools for end-to-end automation of network infrastructures and complex workflows

·  Continuously optimize processes within infrastructure projects

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

·  + 3 years of hands-on experience in network infrastructure roles, primarily in technical aspects

·  Completed apprenticeship as an IT specialist, or a university degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in any relevant field

·  Strong knowledge of common network technologies such as Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortinet, F5, ideally with certifications

·  Initial experience in project management and reporting

·  Solid skills in automation and scripting (e.g., Ansible, Bash, Python)

·  Strong analytical and communication skills, with a responsible and independent working style

·  Fluency in English is required; German language skills (minimum B2) are a strong advantage
