Position Description
Works independently under limited supervision and applies knowledge of subject matter in Applications Development. Possess sufficient knowledge and skills to effectively deal with issues, challenges within field of specialisation to develop simple applications solutions. Second level professional with direct impact on results and outcome.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Managing and monitoring the JVM performance by Websphere Heap Size, garbage collection, JDBC Pools and taking Thread dumps and analyzing to resolve any application issues.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills in a fast-paced support team across multiple environments and platforms.
• Work with project’s development technical leads in a professional manner to plan, coordinate and provide recommendations of deployment activities for non-production and Production environments.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Role: IBM Websphere Application Server admin
Location: Hyderabad
Total No Of Experience: 4-6
Relevant Experience in Websphere Admin: Min 3 years

Job Description:
Administration on IBM Websphere administration (Mandatory)
• Should have worked on Network Deployment product of WAS
• Should have in depth knowledge on the Topology,Cell,Cluster configuration
• Build nodes, application servers, clusters
• Configuration – JMS, DS, JVM, GC , plug-in etc.
• Excellent Troubleshooting: Should have good troubleshooting skills on all websphere/java application related issues
IBM Http Server (Mandatory)
Hands on Unix/Linux O/S – All Unix commands and utilities

Wsadmin/Jython scripting experience (Good To Have)
Shell scripting (Good to have)

Other Mandatory Skills:
• Open to shifts
• Excellent communication and positive attitude
• Quick learner and positive attitude is must
• Should have support/Production experience
