We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Technical Systems Analyst to join our team and play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-grade web applications. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment and enjoys working across both frontend and backend technologies to deliver impactful solutions.
As a Senior Technical Systems Analyst, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including business stakeholders, developers, and QA—to analyze requirements, design technical solutions, and ensure successful implementation. You will be responsible for translating business needs into system specifications, guiding development efforts, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable applications.

Location - Downtown Toronto (Hybrid - 4 days office and 1 day remote)

Your future duties and responsibilities:

. Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
. Lead the design and development of web applications using React, Next.js, Python, and/or Java.
. Build responsive and intuitive user interfaces with TypeScript and Tailwind CSS.
. Develop backend services and APIs that are secure, scalable, and maintainable.
. Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment and improve development efficiency.
. Apply software engineering principles including design patterns, algorithms, and data structures to solve complex problems.
. Develop and maintain automated test suites, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
. Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and agile ceremonies to ensure alignment and quality.
. Document system designs, workflows, and technical decisions for future reference and knowledge sharing.
. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members.
. Work independently and collaboratively to meet project deadlines and deliverables.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. 3+ years of experience in web application development using agile methodologies.
. Strong frontend development skills with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
. Solid backend development experience with Python or Java.
. Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
. Expertise in software design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.
. Applied experience with automated testing frameworks and practices.
. Proficient in SQL and relational or NoSQL databases.
. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
. Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
. Experience with Unix shell scripting is considered an asset.
