Position Description:
We are seeking to hire a seasoned Senior Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager will drive the end-to-end delivery of strategic projects and guides these complex projects from inception through delivery and support, working in close partnership with IT and business leaders. This role oversees defining objectives, creating plans to achieve objectives, tracking progress against objectives and budgets, driving execution of key projects and programs, coaching project team members and improving Agile project management processes.
This opportunity requires that the candidate work onsite in our office located in Fort Lauderdale area, FL.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• This role is in charge of defining objectives, creating plans to achieve objectives, tracking/reporting progress against objectives and budgets, driving execution of key projects and programs, coaching project team members, and improving project management processes.
• Provides overall coordination, status reporting, and stability of project oriented work efforts.
• Must have strong experience running waterfall, agile and hybrid projects, aligning processes, deliverables and project metrics/dashboards/reports as needed
• Provide strategic input to IT leadership on all aspects of projects or programs being managed to provide value to the business
• Successfully manage and execute projects on schedule and on budget
• Manage internal resources and any subject matter experts from other functional areas or external entities
• Track and report project status on a consistent basis, including identifying, categorizing, and escalating project issues and risks that need leadership attention
• Establish and maintain standardized processes, procedures, tools, training, and reporting functions related to projects worked on within IT
• Prior experience managing technology roadmap projects and general knowledge and understanding of the technology field and technology projects
• Ensure that communicated and planned metrics (savings, cost, timing, etc.) are achieved
• Provide leadership, mentoring and coaching team members to ensure success in their roles
• Responsible for coaching, developing, and encouraging excellence from a diverse team
• Develop Requests for Information/ Proposals (RFI/RFP) for external services as applicable
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $62,700 - $263,600.
