Sr. L3 Support Analyst

Position Description:

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or Client office at a minimum 2 days per week - subject to change at any time. 

The L3 Support Analyst will be responsible for providing advanced application support, maintenance, and enhancement services for payment processing applications. The role involves troubleshooting production issues, supporting business-critical payment operations, coordinating deployments, and working closely with business, development, infrastructure, and vendor teams to ensure application stability and operational efficiency.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

.    Provide Level 3 production support for payment applications and related systems. .    Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production incidents, defects, and application issues within defined SLAs.
.    Analyze root causes of application and system issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
.    Support and maintain payment processing applications built on Java and related technologies.
.    Coordinate and manage business process orchestration activities for payment workflows and transactions.
.    Perform bug fixes, application enhancements, and minor development activities based on business requirements. .    Work closely with business users, clients, and cross-functional teams to understand issues and deliver effective solutions. .    Participate in release planning, deployment activities, and production validations in coordination with CAB and release management teams. .    Support application testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and validation of fixes and enhancements. .    Coordinate with external vendors and third-party providers for issue resolution, system integration, and operational support. .    Prepare and maintain operational documentation, incident reports, and support procedures. .    Ensure adherence to organizational processes, security standards, compliance requirements, and operational best practices.
.    Participate in on-call support and provide support during critical production deployments or incidents as required.
.    Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system stability, operational efficiency, and support processes.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must be able to:

.    Provide Level 3 production support for payment applications and related systems.
.    Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production incidents, defects, and application issues within defined SLAs.

*CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000–$130,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
