Position Description

Your future duties and responsibilities
As the Solution Architect you will essentially bridge the gap between the technical and business teams and be responsible for providing expertise in the definition, design, implementation, adoption and adherence to architecture strategies, processes and standards.

You will Support the design and implementation with expert knowledge of technology, technique, method, product or application in a particular technology stack, and a broad appreciation of architectural approaches.

Also you will look to build logical models of components and interfaces that contribute to the development of systems architectures, produce detailed component specifications and translate these into detailed designs for implementation.

This specific role is focused on application/software programmes. Align the technology with the business and customer goals, identifying benefits and risk mitigation approaches.

A significant proponent of the role will entail requirements analysis, delivery and client/stakeholder management.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
To be successful you will need to offer demonstrable Solution Architecture expertise with core technical skills in software applications. As a senior member of the technical team you will lead by example and be able to demonstrate strong examples of ownership, delivery focus and responsibility. You will need to demonstrate application/software experience either with java or oracle. Essential is excellent stakeholder engagement with internal and external individuals.

You will have experience in architecting environments and ideally experience with applications on cloud and DevOps environments but this is not essential.
