Smart hands - Hardware Troubleshooting, Repair, Installation
Position Description
We are looking for a proactive individual with a strong sense of ownership to be responsible for the troubleshooting, repair, installation, and upgrade of Servers, Computer desktops, Notebooks, workstations, printers, peripherals as well as associated operating systems and application software.
This role also offers the opportunity to be involved in Network and telephony related projects Your future duties and responsibilities
• Perform troubleshooting to determine and resolve the root cause of most hardware or software malfunctions at the Server and Desktop level.
• Perform hardware warranty and non-warranty repairs of server, desktops, notebooks, and printers
• Perform complex moves, adds, changes of computer equipment
• Perform complex hardware and/or software upgrades to existing equipment
• Perform advanced network connections for desktops and printers
• Provide hands and feet support to assist in issues resolution on LAN/WAN equipment including Firewalls, routers, Wireless access points, card swipe devices, UPS, WAN accelerators, and appliances, Netscout TAP.
• Perform IMAC (installation, move, add, change) or de-installation requests on LAN/WAN equipment including Firewalls, routers, switch, wireless access points, card swipe devices, UPS, WAN accelerators and appliances, Netscout TAP.
• Resolve or assist in resolution of technical network issues, work with 2nd and 3rd level support teams or external vendors
• Complete cabling or Bixing requests according to client specifications
• Perform end-user phone IMAC, support and configuration
• May be required to work with third party suppliers to maintain client equipment and assist in coordinating repairs as required
• Assist in development and update of procedures and documentation
• Perform Asset Management Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• LAN/WAN knowledge and experience with routers, switches, firewalls, UPS, WAN accelerators
• Experience with Avaya, Cisco and PBX equipment
• Strong Troubleshooting and network resolution skills
• Organization and good management of priorities;
• Strong sense of urgency;
• Leadership;
• Initiative and autonomy.

• Experience with Avaya, Cisco and PBX equipment
• Strong Troubleshooting and network resolution skills
