Position Description:
This position can be located within proximity to a CGI office.
The candidate must be able to speak/write in French.
As a ServiceNow Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing, maintaining, and enhancing applications on the ServiceNow platform, with a focus on IT Asset Management (ITAM). You will also be involved in creating integrations with other established systems.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to ITAM best practices.
Work closely with the Agile Task Force (ATF) to implement agile methodologies in ITAM workflows.
Promote software license compliance and agreements to mitigate legal and financial risks.
Use the Agile ServiceNow module to enhance transparency, collaboration, and adaptability in ITAM processes.
Contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of ITAM applications on the ServiceNow platform.
Implement and customize ServiceNow applications, with a particular focus on ITAM.
Facilitate the deployment of new applications and modules, and configure the user interface and workflow of the application.
Collaborate on the development of integrations between ServiceNow, ITAM, and other existing systems.
Apply innovative technological approaches to solve complex ITAM-related problems.
Provide technical assessments, create comprehensive documentation, and offer expertise within the team.
Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing experiences and knowledge.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Proficiency in French.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM).
Familiarity with agile methodologies and the ability to integrate ATF principles into ITAM workflows.
Knowledge of software compliance and experience in mitigating legal and financial risks.
Proficiency in using the Agile ServiceNow module for ITAM processes.
Hands-on experience with configuring and customizing ServiceNow applications.
Familiarity with web-based and scripting languages (JavaScript, HTML, web services).
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Understanding of ITIL methodologies and IT Service Management (ITSM) concepts.
Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role requiring interaction with national and global clients.
