Your future duties and responsibilities:

We are looking for two Senior Python Developers to join two innovative GenAI projects. Both roles focus on building and scaling production-ready AI applications using Python, LangChain and FastAPI, with a high degree of technical ownership and independence.

One profile will focus on agentic chat applications, including advanced capabilities such as Canvas Mode, Word export and Deep Research Agents. The second profile will focus on Document AI, Vision-Language Models (VLMs), OCR and Computer Vision, extending an existing solution with new components and capabilities.

For both positions, German language skills at minimum B2 level are required

·  Design, develop and scale Python-based GenAI applications, including APIs and job-queuing mechanisms

·  Independently implement software according to technical specifications, architectural models and development standards

·  Develop and integrate new AI capabilities while continuously improving existing solutions

·  Create technical documentation and perform and document unit testing

·  Support integration, load, performance and user acceptance testing and resolve identified defects

·  Work closely with project managers, developers, testers, IT specialists, business analysts and other stakeholders

·  Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer while taking a high degree of ownership for your area

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

For both profiles:

·  Senior-level hands-on experience in Python development

·  Strong practical expertise with LangChain and FastAPI

·  Experience developing and scaling production applications, including API design and job queuing

·  Solid understanding of software architecture, testing and modern software development practices

·  Experience with development methodologies and concepts such as Scrum and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).

·  Knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) and UML

·  German at B2 level or higher

For the Agentic AI profile:

·  Strong experience with Vue.js

·  Experience with AG-UI

·  Hands-on experience developing agentic chat / AI applications

·  Experience implementing advanced GenAI features such as Canvas Mode, document/Word export or similar interactive capabilities

For the Document AI profile:

·  Hands-on experience with Vision-Language Models (VLMs) and GenAI application testing

·  Strong knowledge of OCR technologies and Computer Vision

·  Experience with Document AI / Document Intelligence solutions and models or services such as GPT, Kimi or comparable technologies

·  Knowledge of Kubernetes and/or OpenShift

·  Experience extending existing AI solutions as well as developing new components from scratch
