Senior Fullstack developer with strong frontend focus and German

We are currently planning to expand our Budapest branch and looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer with a strong React background who enjoys working in large, established enterprise applications. While the primary focus of this role is clearly frontend, this is not a frontend‑only position. Our ideal candidate is someone who is frontend‑strong but able and willing to take on backend‑related tasks or backend parts of stories when needed.
This role is well suited for an engineer who values consistency, reuse, and maintainability, and who prefers extending existing architectures rather than introducing parallel patterns or one‑off solutions.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Work on a large, existing enterprise React application, extending and evolving established patterns
Design and implement complex, data‑heavy UI features such as forms, grids, CRUD screens, and multi‑step sidebar flows
Collaborate closely with backend engineers on end‑to‑end feature development
Occasionally take ownership of backend‑related tasks or backend parts of user stories
Integrate REST APIs using existing API and thunk layers
Contribute to improving code quality, structure, and long‑term maintainability
Actively participate in technical discussions, challenging ideas when appropriate and clearly explaining your own technical decisions
Proactively bring in new ideas and improvements that help move the product and engineering practices forward

Redux (classic reducers and string‑based action types)

Backend environment (for collaboration and occasional hands‑on work)

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Strong experience with React in medium‑to‑large applications
Solid knowledge of Redux and thunk‑based state management
Experience working in structured frontend architectures with shared components, hooks, and utility layers
Good understanding of React Router and route‑driven data loading
Hands‑on experience building complex business UIs (forms, grids, CRUD, workflows)
Confidence integrating REST APIs via existing abstraction layers
Ability to quickly read and understand an existing codebase and extend it consistently
Practical understanding of authentication, authorization, internationalization (i18n), and persisted UI state
General backend awareness, with the ability to work on Java/Spring Boot tasks when required
Personal and collaboration skills

Clear and confident communication skills
Ability to defend your technical point of view with sound reasoning
Comfortable working with strong, experienced engineers and engaging in constructive technical debate
Proactive mindset: you bring ideas, suggest improvements, and help drive the project forward
Strong sense of ownership and responsibility for code quality and long‑term maintainability
Fluency in English, German and Hungarian
