Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Position Description: We are looking for an experienced FileNet Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about coding and developing scalable and high-performance applications. You will work closely with our front-end developers, designers, and other members of the team to deliver quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
• Design end-to-end enterprise content management (ECM) solutions using IBM FileNet platform.
• Lead the development and implementation of FileNet applications, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Provide architectural guidance and governance on FileNet standards and integration patterns.
• Utilize tools such as IBM Content Collector (ICC), BatchIt, and FileNet Deployment Manager (FDM) for solution development and deployment.
• Integrate FileNet with third-party applications and systems using APIs, with experience in tools such as Kofax for document ingestion.
• Ensure smooth integration of FileNet with underlying infrastructure including IBM WebSphere, Unix, and Linux environments.
• Maintain strong business communication to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, business users, and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior developers and guide teams in adopting FileNet design best practices and development standards.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Must-Have Skills
• 12+ years of hands-on experience in IBM FileNet development and solution architecture.
• Proven experience with FileNet P8, Content Engine, Process Engine, and Case Manager (optional but preferred).
• Strong expertise in FileNet best practices and standards for application design, scalability, and security.
• Hands-on experience with ICC (IBM Content Collector), BatchIt, and Filenet Deployment Manager.
Good to have:
• Knowledge of Kofax and document capture solutions.
• Strong understanding of API integration techniques (REST, SOAP, Java APIs).
• Experience in requirement gathering, stakeholder management, and functional design.
• Familiarity with IBM WebSphere Application Server, Unix/Linux environments, and scripting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
