Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This is a hybrid position.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

In this role, you will drive CGI’s growth within the Higher Education sector, developing deep relationships with universities and education providers while delivering transformative advisory solutions. You’ll act as a trusted partner—identifying market opportunities, shaping strategic propositions, and ensuring exceptional delivery outcomes that position CGI as a leader in the sector. You’ll take ownership of developing long-term partnerships and influencing how CGI’s Higher Education offering evolves to meet the challenges and opportunities of the future.
Working collaboratively with senior colleagues, you’ll have the freedom to innovate, the support to grow, and the opportunity to lead meaningful change in one of CGI’s most strategically important markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead & Grow: Identify, develop, and secure new consulting engagements within the Higher Education sector.
Develop & Deliver: Design and deliver complex, outcome-based solutions for universities and education providers.
Engage & Influence: Build strong, lasting relationships with senior stakeholders to position CGI as a trusted advisor.
Shape & Strategise: Define and execute a comprehensive sector growth and revenue strategy.
Innovate & Inspire: Contribute to thought leadership, market insights, and sector propositions.
Collaborate & Connect: Partner with marketing and delivery teams to enhance CGI’s HE brand and client engagement.
Own & Achieve: Take accountability for delivery excellence, client satisfaction, and business success.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

You will bring a deep understanding of the Higher Education landscape, a strong commercial mindset, and proven experience in leading client engagements within a consulting environment. You should demonstrate credibility with senior stakeholders and a passion for delivering impactful, high-quality solutions that drive sector transformation.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Extensive experience within the Higher Education sector, ideally across digital transformation, organisational strategy, or operational efficiency.
Proven ability to identify, shape, and close new business opportunities.
Strong leadership and client relationship management skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and implementing sector-focused growth plans.
Demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder consulting engagements.
Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work across teams and functions.
