CGI is seeking an Advantage ERP Financial Functional Consultant to join our team! Together, as owners, let’s turn meaningful insights into action to meet the needs and balance the interests of our clients, shareholders, communities and one another.
This is a hybrid role requiring two days per week in any CGI office.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Under general guidance of the ERP Financial Functional Lead, the financial functional analyst will be responsible for business process mapping, design, and configuration of the financial portion of the CGI Advantage ERP solution.
• They will participate in the effort to analyze and document requirements and functional designs and review technical designs to ensure that the solution complies with the functional requirements.
• The candidate will also be responsible for fostering positive relationships with our client stakeholders, internal CGI stakeholders and local/global delivery teams.
• Partner with client delivery teams with the implementation of the ERP Financial components of CGI Advantage ERP solution within the public sector.
• Collaborate closely with clients and co-workers to document business processes/requirements, recommend process improvements, configure the financial application for client use, and test the application.
• Responsible for providing status reports to project managers and monitor the timely completion of scheduled tasks
• Balance attention to detail while keeping the big picture in mind.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 3+ years Accounting-related experience or education, public sector preferred but not required
• 3+ years of experience implementing ERP software, including experience in requirements gathering and analysis and testing and debugging application issues
• 3+ years' experience testing application issues
• Strong problem-solving skills in a complex multi-tiered integrated environment with the ability to understand the inter-relationship between the various components
• Must have the ability to pick up new concepts and ideas quickly using all available resources
• Experience with both Agile and Waterfall implementation methodologies
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills and be able to explain technical concepts in layman s terms when necessary
• Must be able to effectively juggle multiple, often competing, priorities and clients. Solid tracking and prioritization skills a must
• Team-oriented focus, knowledge sharing, professional in all situations (including high stress)
• Ability to work in non-conventional environment with virtual team spanning time zones across the country and in India
• Ability to Travel to client site as needed
• Understanding of state and local government functions
• Data analysis, reporting
• Accounting, Budgeting or Financial background
• Familiarity with SharePoint or similar collaboration tools
• Microsoft Office – MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access – Or Equivalent

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $75,600 -$198,400.
