The CGI Government Cloud Services Program (GCS) delivers and supports a proprietary Government Advantage ERP software suite, recently certified as a StateRAMP certified SaaS solution. Our CGI Advantage program is seeking a skilled SaaS Information Security Officer that will focus on continually securing our SaaS software while working in conjunction with our IaS, PaaS teams and product engineering to ensure continued compliance with the StateRAMP protocols and processes. For this role, CGI is looking for an individual with experience as a Information Security Officer, comfortable discussing software security, understands DevSecOps processes and SDLC, and has familiarity with NIST, FedRAMP and/or StateRAMP protocols. Ideally the candidate has a security certification such as CISM, CISA or CISSP demonstrating the aptitude for the role.
This is a hybrid role, requiring two to three days per week from any of the CGI office.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
The SaaS Information Security Officer primary responsibilities are but not limited to:
• Provide guidance, oversee the implementation of Advantage security controls.
• Serve as vulnerability management expert, which includes - monitoring vulnerability review, POAM tracking, reporting incorporating StateRamp guidance, and remediation efforts.
• Serve as the primary contact to StateRamp for all POAM tracking and continuous monitoring.
• Provides oversight of the StateRamp POAM monthly reviews, to ensure all questions are promptly addressed and up to date statuses are reported.
• Work with other Advantage teams to ensure security controls are incorporated in every phase of the development, testing, and configuration processes.
• Manage the Advantage Change Management processes & the security policy exception.
• Work with the various Engineering teams to coordinate, facilitate, or otherwise ensure certain activities are being performed for security tool installation or tool administration.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Over 7 years of experience in Information Security, with a strong foundation in securing enterprise environments.
• More than 3 years of hands-on experience with containerization technologies including Kubernetes, Docker, and the Rancher platform.
• 3+ years of experience with security tools, including installation and reporting
• Proficient in scripting across multiple languages, including Linux shell scripting, Python, Perl, and Go.
• 2+ years of experience in container security, incident management, vulnerability management & access management
• Skilled in working with Oracle and SQL Server databases, with expertise in writing SQL DDL/DML.
• Over 3 years of experience with industry security standards such as NIST, ISO, HIPAA, and PCI.
• Experienced in automating IT processes, with familiarity in tools like CA Autosys or similar job scheduling and monitoring platforms.
• At least 1 year of experience working in Azure environments.
• Exposure to DevOps tools and practices, including Jira and Git.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple dynamic workloads.
• Capable of working independently or as part of a collaborative team, including leadership roles.
• A self-starter with keen attention to detail, able to perform with minimal supervision in diverse team environments.
• Demonstrates strong analytical thinking, ownership mindset, and a commitment to quality and effective communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Preferred certifications include CISM, CISA, and CISSP.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $53,100.00 - $156,700.00.
