This position is located in our Arlington, VA or Lafayette, Louisiana office
however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
o Engage with stakeholders to understand their business objectives, challenges, and data requirements.
o Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather detailed business requirements for BI solutions.
o Create comprehensive documentation, including business requirements documents (BRD), functional requirements specifications (FRS), and use cases.
• Data Analysis and Validation:
o Understand the structure, schema, and content of Momentum Financials data.
o Perform data profiling to assess data quality, identify anomalies, and understand data distributions.
o Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data used in BI reports and dashboards.
• Solution Design and Development:
o Collaborate with BI developers to design and develop data models, ETL processes, and reporting solutions.
o Identify and define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics that align with business goals.
o Develop mockups and prototypes of reports and dashboards to gather feedback from stakeholders.
• Testing and Quality Assurance:
o Create test plans and test cases to validate BI solutions against business requirements.
o Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that BI solutions meet the needs of end-users.
o Document and track issues, collaborate with developers to resolve them, and ensure that solutions are tested and validated.
• User Training and Support:
o Create training materials, user guides, and documentation to help users understand and utilize BI solutions effectively.
o Provide training sessions and workshops for end-users to demonstrate how to use reports and dashboards.
o Offer ongoing support to users, address their queries, and help them interpret and analyze data.
• Stakeholder Management:
o Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to keep them informed about project progress, gather feedback, and manage expectations.
o Organize and facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations to discuss requirements, solutions.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Ń+ yrs experience in reports requirements gathering, design and data analysis
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Information Technology
• Strong understanding of BI tools and technologies (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis techniques.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
• Experience with Momentum Financials or similar financial systems is a plus
• Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes is a plus

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $61,900.00 - $137,100.00.
