Position Description:
The Project Control Officer supports the project team and/or Project Management Office (PMO) by tracking and producing reports on key project initiatives such as project plans, financials, change requests, deliverables, risks, and issues.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Timely preparation and analysis of reports, presenting results with meaningful and accurate commentary to project/client contacts.
• Propose improvements to supporting analyses to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Strong interpersonal skills – the position requires coordination across stakeholders.
• Adaptability and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment – the role will require a variety of undefined activities to be performed from time to time, and the candidate should be able to adapt accordingly.
• Ability to manage ambiguous situations – if asked to perform tasks outside normal defined activities, the candidate should be able to do so without hesitation.
• Implementing and maintaining data controls, ensuring processes are aligned with onshore requirements.
• Attend process-related meetings with Business Units and onshore counterparts and conduct cross-functional training as necessary.
• Prepare other administrative reports and perform additional tasks as required by the Operational Lead and Manager.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Bachelor's degree in any field, with a minimum of 1 year of work experience.
• Expertise in MS Excel.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Action-oriented, with the ability to take ownership of requests, issues, and escalations, and deliver effective resolutions to customers.
• Customer-oriented (know your customers well and add value with a sense of urgency).
• Strong work ethics and flexibility to meet dynamic business needs.
• A sense of autonomy, initiative, and responsibility.
• A motivated self-starter who takes initiative to resolve issues.
• Proficient in following and writing process documentation.
• Willingness to grow with the project/CGI.
