Project Analyst/PMO

Position Description
CGI Federal has an immediate need for a PMO/Project Analyst. As a PMO/Project Analyst, you will join the Strategic Projects & Programs group supporting a large outsourced client project. You will be a member of an elite delivery team within program, with responsibilities to the overall Program Vice-President

Your future duties and responsibilities
- Assists in the formulation and definition of project scope and objectives
- Maintain project plans, processes, and documentation repositories
- Track project deliverables and milestones
- Establish and ensure deliverable quality assurance processes
- Provide regular status updates and reports
- Oversee tracking, review, and reporting of project risks and issues
- Maintain project schedules
- Track project-level financials
- Coordinate with Recruiting Teams to acquire necessary project resources; coordinate with program PMO to ensure smooth onboarding and assimilation of new project members
- Prepare and coordinate project-level communications
- Provide support to the full project team at meetings which could include, scheduling meetings, taking minutes, and recording actions
- Support internal and external audits, as required
- Liaise with internal stakeholders as well as key client contacts.
- Assist the Program PMO Manager in defining, overseeing, and communicating project management processes, standards and governance
- Coordinate with the Program PMO Manager and project team leads to develop best-practice project processes and standards
- Assure project adherence to program-level governance processes and reviews

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- Due to the nature of this government contract, US Citizenship is required
- Must have at least 3 years of relevant experience performing in a similar role
- MUST have 2 years of scheduling with MS Project
- MUST have experience in Infrastructure and Data Center support environments
- This is a highly interactive role and as such, you will need excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and the ability to deal with both internal and external stakeholders
- Solid MS office abilities to include Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS SharePoint, MS Outlook, MS Word
- Expertise in creating and maintaining project plans in MS Office
- Experience using SharePoint and ability to provide basic user-level administration support to users
- Mature, teachable, self-motivated with a positive attitude and good work ethic, the successful candidate will be a team player who is proactive
- Must be detail-oriented while maintaining and consistently displaying multi-tasking abilities in a busy, professional environment on a client site and able to exhibit problem solving abilities
- Ability maintain professionalism to the client and the CGI team
- Analytical skills and ability to interpret data
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of the CGI, subcontractor, and customer organization
- Excellent organization skills coupled with excellent interpersonal skills; ability to prioritize workload to facilitate an efficient PMO service
- Excellent prioritization and coordination skills with the ability to work to multiple deadlines under pressure
- You may be required to be flexible between PMO areas in order to support workload spikes in workload
- Highly motivated self-starter, able to work independently or with a group. Ability to organize and prioritize workload
- Experience with the systems development lifecycle, methodologies, estimating, troubleshooting and solutioning
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge and use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Business Analysis experience
- A 4 year degree in a relevant field is preferred (i.e.: IT, Business Systems/Administration, Accounting, and Finance)
