Principal Business Analyst (Solution Owner)

We have a new opportunity for a Principal Business Analyst to join our team in the exciting growth phase at the start of a new project.

Working in partnership with the Project Manager you will ensure successful delivery, by owning the overall functional solution. This role will best suit a strong Business Consultant / Business Analyst with a technical background.

Flexible work is available including hybrid work from a CGI or client office 2-3 days/week (and as needed by the client).

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Be the functional design / solution owner
• Partner with the Project Manager, contributing to the creation and implementation of the overall project plan
• Be the business applications subject matter expert from a functional design perspective.
• Lead the requirements elicitation and analysis process.
• Engage in stakeholder management, change management and lead the functional approval process.
• Establish and manage effective client relationships
• Be responsible for the quality of business analysis and delivered artefacts.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 8+ years of Business Analysis, Business Consulting or Solution Consulting experience, with a technical background and/or understanding.
• Proficient in business analysis techniques.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and analytical skills while always having the bigger picture/solution/strategy in mind.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, partnership, and leadership skills.
• Be a fast learner.
• Experience with payroll and/or scheduling applications preferable
• Australian work rights required
