January 2019 New Grad GTA-BKS : Project Control Officer

Position Description
Responsibilities:
Manage day to day PMO tools and processes - Project and Executive Reporting, Project Plans, Risk and Issue Logs, Project Financials, Meeting Minutes/Action Items, Document Management, SharePoint Admin, etc.
Working with the PCOs who are assigned to the other Leads, to gather status updates (Milestone level and overall status). This responsibility requires following up with PCOs, gathering their updates, combining into a tracking document, reviewing the document with the PCOs, distribution to Leads, attending the bi-weekly status meeting, leading the meeting, taking minutes and publishing the minutes of the meeting.
Organize off-site events for the management teams and monthly product group gatherings for the group of 150+, coordinate all logistics.
Required skills:
Post-secondary education with focus on Business Administration or related discipline
Training or certification in Project Management is desirable
1-3 years related experience in project management and/or project coordination and/or project support
Working knowledge of MS Office 2010 suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio
Strong knowledge of and demonstrated experience with MS Project 2010 or higher
Proficiency in MS Excel is required
Experience with revenue and cost management, and billing/invoicing processes in a consulting/project related environment
Strong attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
