CGI is looking for a Oracle Support Consultant to join our team.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Job description:
The candidate will have the following responsibilities:
• Analysis and solving accounting issues during production phases.
• Raise change requests to the vendor, ensure the follow up of issues until the delivery of patch corrections.
• Understand accounting principles and funds structures to produce NAV.
• Contribute to maintain a very stable BAU to deliver NAV on time and match with the deadlines.
Main Tasks:
• Resolving incidents and support requests - Efficiency of the solutions provided.
• Proper Communications to Operational Users regarding item resolution and status.
• Internal Global Communication between APS IT Client teams.
• Correct application of SLA and fulfil APS IT duties. Sharing the expertise and knowledge with the team
• Develop good understanding on the applications the team gives supports to (functional and technical). Applying the rules and the procedures in place.
Technical Skills:
• Proficient in Oracle SQL / PL-SQL - Linux/Unix commands
• Good knowledge of Funds industry or Knowledge and/or experience on the financial services industry
• IT or Business degree
• Experience in production/application support activity
• Experience and ability to perform technical analysis, identify impacts (functional/technical)
Language Skills:
• English – Expert
• French - Notions

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
