MSP Business Analyst
Position Description
The MSP Business Analyst (BA) will be responsible for providing professional and effective analytical and consulting services to internal and external client organizations while performing the functions and supporting overall quality management of the assigned projects. Overall, the MSP BA will support the PMO team through a variety of special projects including data analysis; this will be suplimented by audit support, outreach, enhancement identification, process improvements, etc.This is a “hands-on” position requiring solid analytical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Your future duties and responsibilities
•Function as POC for recovery agent/debtor research and data analysis; attend monthly recovery agent/debtor outreach meetings to identify areas for improvement both internal and external; work with CGI team to streamline processes used to address recovery agent/debtor inquiries; must be comfortable making sense of large volumes of data
•Support PMO with other analysis activities as identified; must be comfortable to support special projects as identified
•Able to work as part of a team and individual to complete tasks.
•Collaborate with other BAs and IT teams while working through special projects
•Ability to identify and assist in implementing process improvements, this includes requirements documentation, requirements guidance, job aids, and limited training as appropriate to educate others on team
•Act as liaison amongst end-users, project managers, sponsors, and developers
•Document procedures for use in training (such as job aids and SOPs)
•Translate requirement into terms understandable to the end-users
•Research and prepare statistical reports using system data to help clients understand system benefits
•Lead team efforts and work with management to support department goals Required qualifications to be successful in this role
•One to three years of the following:
•Demonstrated analytical and leadership skills
•Proven skill and effectiveness in requirements gathering, definition, data analysis, process analysis, business and functional requirements analysis
•Exceptional ability to articulate data analysis results, issues identified, etc. to both technical and business concerns
•Excellent written and verbal communication
•Flexible, team player, “get-it-done” personality
•Ability to organize and plan work independently
•Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
•Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams
•Knowledge of medical auditing/billing and working with CMS a plus
•Basic knowledge of Lean Six Sigma (Yellow Belt) a plus
•High school diploma/GED
Desired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
Bachelor degree or higher preferred
Experience with and knowledge of NGHP or GHP processes is a plus
